Any way to lobby or argue for E2 to allow job switching? Is there any positive way to argue for this. Would be far more convenient to have a Japanese style approach. Anyone involved in forums want to take this up? |

It would be far more convenient for the employee but not the employer...so not likely to happen. And as pointed out if it ever did, employers are likely to drop airfare and accommodations. They are not likely to pay for a flight and a room if the worker can just up and leave anytime he wants.
Besides which E-2's are prohibited from lobbying or any sort of political action. |
