Should we not have a thread for North East Asian countries?
Taiwan?
Japan?
China?
Lots of teachers need to do visa runs and so on...
Sure, they can click over to the Intl. Discussion Forum but it would seem more practical to have a source here ready to go for teachies here on this forum.

Another idea I hadn't thought of.
It'd be useful for us on this forum, no doubt, to have easy access to hotels, restaurants, Embassy info, travel agencies, train - ferry - bus schedules, other posters experiences, taxi info, blah, blah, etc, etc...... |
