last year around this time, there was a day-long workshop for SMOE teachers. has anyone heard something about this?

What grade level you teach? If it's elementary or High school (Tech & Academic), they've already had their workshops. And most likely the Middle schools too

Your district office should've passed the message to your head teacher and your head should've sent it to you.

It looks like your not the only that missed out. Lots of people either showed up late (Got the message at the last minute) or were sitting at their schools oblivious.

i'm at a middle school, though it's a private one under SMOE, so you're right, i was probably just passed over. i was looking forward to a change of scenery.
