Where are all the good gyms at in Changwon? For serious weight-lifters and performance athletes.

There's Seobu Sports Center in Dogye. I've never used it personally but it's a very big complex so it may be worth checking out.

A few of my more ripped buddies used to go to a MMA gym on the second floor of solium apartments right next to international hotel. May not be what you are looking for but its an idea.

theres a lot of pro body builders in changwon. The guy I used to train with was former mr universe and a freind of ronny Coleman. He has a gym up in sapa-dong where he trains people for competitions. He really knows his stuff and showed me some freat exercises/routines for getting ripped but hes a hard bas-tard and really pushes you if you ask him for help (thats what I wanted though).
He has a lot of free weights for the bars but only a mid range set of dumbells (some are missing to make a complete set).

If you drive, I can give you directions, but theres nothing on google earth so I cant tell you exactly where it is.
But if you know where the 'bub won' is (the court house), its about a 20 min walk, 5/10 min ride from there following the road toward anmin on the '25' road.

Damn I would love to find that gym. Thanks for the posts fellas. I checked out the MMA gym, it is 2 blocks away from my studio; but, it isn't what I am looking for. I also, found 2 other gyms, but they were kind of small. A bodybuilding gym is what I am going for. Price doesn't matter, I am willing to pay as much as long as it is big and has a lot of equipment. Have any of you heard of or been to a gym called Vision? I live in the Sangnam-dong area, and am still trying to get familar with the area. I am basically 10-15 minutes from the Changwon Circle(where Lotte/E-Mart is).

Really? I work out a gym right next to the courthouse, little hole in the wall place with a jimjubong. Think it is worth it for the extra walk?

Do you know any foreigners in that area or that go drinking in o'briens regularly? Im asking cos i know one guy that used it regularly and would be able to show you where it is.

Anyway, Ill try my best to give you directions ffom what I can tell you (it being korea and not using addresses profusley).

Go along the road as if your going to anmin tunnel. About 20 mins walking youll come to a big church and a road that goes left to the bus terminal.
The gym is in that area there (behind the church) about third row/street down. I think its on the fifth floor.
Go and check it out. Theres usually a van parked outside with pics of bodybuilders on it.
Id say its a better gym than the one you train at generally but the benefit of yours is, its a lot quieter (fewer hajumas).

sorry i cant help more!
