Like most countries, personal use, whatever that may be construed as. Anything not over the counter you might need to show prescriptions for.

IF you are talking about things like: aspirin, Tylenol, ibuprofen, Advil, etc. then as long as it is in a new, sealed bottle there will be no problem with 1 or 2 bottles (even as large as 500 tabs each).

IF the med has ANY narcotic in it (like codeine) then they are LEGALLY restricted / prohibited. Importing them is illegal and will at a minimum result in a delay at customs and confiscation if you are caught with them (assuming they are like the "Safeway brand" Tylenol with codeine that you can buy over the counter.)

Anything stronger may result in more serious consequences (including prosecution) if you are caught (unless you have a prescription for them).
