I had some wool blend shirts done at the tailor directly across from Wang Thai restaurant that are very decent quality and fit perfect for 40k a shirt with only a 3k discount on each which I'm satisfied with. I was quoted 100k for double pleated dress pants which seems a bit high considering 5% to 10% is about the most you will knock off a quoted price. Seoul isn't Bangkok or Yangon when it comes to negotiating discounts. I couldn't find out if the cotton pants material is wrinkle free like Dockers or it is requires steaming or pressing to look good after each wash, but know the craftsmanship is probably top notch. A lot of people on here said the tailors are cheap quality, but I find the small MVP shop to be very good and much better than anything I seen for sale in the stores. It was just a try, because the salesmen can't really answer many questions and don't have much to show you.

Can you give me a rundown of prices of what you had tailor made? Are their cotton fabrics wrinkle free or does it require pressing after each wash? How can I be sure pants are not just altered off the rack cheap pants? Do you do better in Seoul or Bangkok for tailored clothes when it comes to price, quality, and style? Might all the tailors in an area be using the same factory and offer the same things?

I had 3 long sleeve linen shirts made in the summer of 2008. Still wearing them, still keep me nice and cool but with long sleeves in the warmer weather. Have to iron them all the time, but that's because they are linen.

Cost was 35 apiece or 3 for 100.

I got some 100% cotton shirts made last summer. They were 40k apiece, but I got 4 so got them at 35k each, since they were the same cut.
