WHoa, whoa whoa. I downloaded the Incredibles from mininova last week. I then also downloaded the subtitles from Gomtv. The only problem is that the subtitles are slower than the film by about a minute and they get more out of sync as the film goes on. You'll be lucky to get the film and then the subtitles that are synced dead in time. They can't be brought to the same speed either. Bummer. I tried this last week.

Not to sound like a nob but I bought the DVD yesterday from a rental shop for 10 000 won. If I'd known sooner I could have sent you a copy!

I was going to post the exact same thing. Basically, the subs from gomtv are from different rips than files on minnova and other english sites. I spent a good 45mins looking for subs for other movies and this was always the case.

PS Dome, I'd like to take you up on that offer Smile

I had the same issue. The subtitles were too slow, luckily my local rental shop had the movie and I showed it to my kids on the last day of class. I love the Incredibles.

I don't know if you knew this, but in GOM player you can adjust the sync placement of subtitles by using the ">" and "<" buttons. Also, I have never had much luck finding subtitles that were decent on GOM's website. I usually go to http://cineast.kr/index.php , do a search for the movie, find the subtitle file, then do a search for the torrent associated with the subtitle file. for example, this subtitle file is named "(The Incredibles, 2004)sub2smi.720p.HDTV.x264-THOR," so try to find a movie torrent with a similar name (like this one: The.Incredibles.2004.nHD.720p.x264.AC3.NhaNc3.torrent ). It doesn't always work, but the success rate of finding good subtitles is around 80% on cineast, where it was around 25% on GOM. Another method that works much of the time is to google the name of the movie in Korean (in this case, 인크레더블 ) + 한글 자막.

subtitle workshop
you can edit the time stamps and when the subtitles start etc

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Other-VIDEO-Tools/Subtitle-Workshop.shtml

easy to edit subtitles (also good if you want the subtitles in a .doc format. simply copy then paste special into excel/opencalc then paste into word. using excel first gets rid of the timestamp.

also good for changing subtitle formats
