I'm planning to have my friend send me some brand new shoes in the big usps flat rate box and was wondering if this will cause a problem with customs?

I've searched the threads and while it seems like most people get their boxes with clothes and shoes without a problem, it still seems like a slight risk and no guarantees.

Any other tips and does anyone know how long these shipments take for it to get here (I'm in Seoul).

I believe as long as it isn't made from some endangered species and the value is under 150,000 won or equivalent Korean customs won't bother with it.
