I've contracted chickenpox from one of my adorable little students. Is it legal for my boss to dock my paycheck for time missed, even though I clearly got sick from work? |

What does your contract say about sick days?
Show up with the pox all over you. That way it shows you went to work, but then he wlll obviously not want you endangering his entire client base. Wait till the mom's here the NET has a communicable disease. That'll go over well.
I'm saying this in jest obviously. I don't really know the law on being paid for work related illness/injuries.
How long does chicken pox take to get over? I was tested and confirmed to be naturally immune! So I have no idea. |

Contractual matter. IF you don't have sick days in your contract then there is nothing in labor law to protect you.

Oh dear. It's so much worse with adults. When I got it in kindergarten, my mom made my little sister sleep in my bed so she'd catch it. She used to play connect the dots with calamine lotion with our first initial, calling us "Super _" to try and cheer us up. I still have the scar of the last one to go on my back.
I hope you feel better soon, and that your boss doesn't F you over. |
