Okay. I needed a break from grading poorly written essays. Here is my feeble attempt. Enjoy.

Christmas in Korea

Chorus:
Christmas in Korea
Not like it is in the UK /USA
All the trees are plastic
Much like Christmas Day
Yes, Christmas in Korea
if you wear a Maple leaf on your back
Instead of Christmas presents
You might just get a Spam pack

Its off to the Red Door Store
To purchase things to eat
For western goods like cranberries
It surely cant be beat
But on the subway ride
There really is no excuse
For that dirty old man in a dirty red suit
to give me a Christmas Goose

My Girlfriends with her family
Much to my sincere regret
I would have gone with her
If I wasnt such a big secret
So instead I head to Itaewon
As everybody knows
Things get kind of jolly there if youve got won to spare
Thanks to the Ho Ho Hos!

Now that Santa Claus and his sleigh
Must visit every villa and high rise
How he gets around who knows
Cause the ROK controls the skies
So put your stockings up with care
And remember to unlock your door
Because there are no chimneys for him to descend
And he cant come up through the floor

Looking at my presents
The usual I did get
Rainbow colored socks from Jin-won
From my boss a Kimchi Tuna set
Mrs. Kim gave me a Burberry muffler
To go with my Burberry toque
Im just glad that the man from the North
Didnt send me a Christmas nuke.
