Hey there,

Anybody know of a good movie theater in the Anyang/Seoul area?

Kinex 10 is near me, but I can't find any online "Now Showing" listings for it newer than 2008 so I wonder if it's been shut down in the past couple of years. I can't read Korean so I'm having a little trouble finding websites that tell me where the theaters are and what they're currently showing.

(I kind of want to see the new Harry Potter movie when it comes out, if it isn't here already. Embarassed )

Thanks for your help! Very Happy

Lotte Cinema in the Lotte Department Store at Anyang Station.

CGV across the way from Anyang Station.

Sanbon right across from the station.

Pyeongchon, above the KFC.

Indeogwon, on the south side of the street near the bus stop.

Lotte or CGV would be the nicest of these, but neither are fantastic. Usually I catch a train (preferably express) up to Yeongdeongpo and go to Times Square (largest screen in the world).

There's one at Beomgye, too. It's on the top floor of the building Kim's club is in.

The Kinex 10 in Pyeongchon has turned into a CGV. It's still a great cinema, perhaps better now. The website, www.cgv.co.kr is very difficult to navigate though.
If that is your nearest, there is also a Cinus in Indeogwon and a Primus in Beomgye.
Does anyone know if there is anything good on at the moment, or coming soon?

Social Network was pretty good. I didn't know what it was about and just went because my friends were going. I thought it was going to be a horror movie for some reason, but it was about Mark Zuckerberg.
