I went to Fugetsu Okonomiyaki in Myeongdong this weekend. If any of you are looking for decent Osaka-style okonomiyaki (I can't stand Hiroshima-style) it's worth checking out.
They cook it on a grill at your table, and it was quite reasonable. I paid 7,500 for pork okonomiyaki. I'm not a connoisseur, but I used to eat it at a little family restaurant when I lived in Japan, and it seems fairly authentic.
To get there, it's just north of Myeongdong subway station, just past the Zara and Daiso stores, you turn right down a little lane at the Body Shop. It's on the left on the second floor.
It looks like they also have branches in Gangnam and Hongdae. Here's their website, which seems to be down at the moment, but their maps are still accessible:

i gave up trying to find authentic japanese food. Ill eat the miso ramen or such, but in 10 years ive never really had a good bowl of gyudon or tonkotsu. ive had dupbab and ddonggoochu ramen. I go to Japan often so its no biggie, I guess..

If I want it I make it myself. It's easy. However, I am living in Vancouver right now. Can you buy any of the ingredients in Korea I am heading back over in a month...

The previous two years I lived in Kyoto. Okonomiyaki carved itself a place in my heart. Wonderful stuff. I think I'll make some tonight.

OP where did you live?
