First, how much do you guys pay for cable? I pay about 60,000W (KT) a month for cable and internet (including taxes). Its annoying because I live on the border of my province and people literally just up the road are paying half the price with some smaller telecom company.
Also, I'm trying to decide between renting a router from KT (1,500 a month) vs. just buying one. If I were back home I could just find a used wireless router on craigslist for like $5, but here they seem to run about 40,000W easy.
Should I just save myself of headache of finding one or bringing one from the US (which I'll have to plug into a converter) and rent one from KT? Or do wifi routers usually work on a range of currents like a lot of smaller tech devices (external hard drives, electric razors, cell phones, etc.)? |
