Did you know that North and South Korea are still technically at war?
That's because they signed a cease-fire, not a peace treaty. Some enlightened individual told me about this today, because apparently, nobody else, myself included, knows. So, thanks for spreading that nugget of information.
(If you couldn't tell, I'm being sarcastic). |

but -do and -shima both mean island..... maybe call one rock Dokshima and the other Takedo and market it as a Han-Il Gwan-ge tourist supercenter. |

It's the most over stated point about the North and South I've ever heard.
I've heard it repeatedly over and over since before I came here. Even the BBC news feed likes to tell me at the end of every single article regarding the Koreas.
'North Korea is sending nukes over to russia. North Korea have technically been at war with the South since 1953 etc etc'. |
