Just make sure your flights are not with a Korean airline... they won't shoot down a Chinese passenger plane or a Thai plane... hopefully.

What's funny is I haven't had one Korean initiate a conversation about the incident with my. If it's brought up i do it and when I do they don't seem too worried.. Some even laughed in the beginning when I was a little alarmed.
