I know this has got to be somewhere on this site, but 'search' is not working and after 20 minutes of searching the old-fashioned way I'm giving up and starting my own thread:

1) I am leaving Korea after 4 months (on December 22nd). Can I collect my pension for the months I've been here?

2) Also, payday is on the 17th. If I go to the pension office before then and fill out the paperwork, will the pension contribution that is deducted from my last paycheck be included in the lumpsum return?

Thanks.

1) yes, go to the pension office with you exit ticket, your home banking information, and your ARC and fill in the form

2) yes, the pension office waits and verifies that no further contributions will be coming from your employer before they wire it, which is why there is usually a long waiting period before you receive it (3-8weeks after leaving the country)
