The website alludes that US citizens must process their visas from inside the USA.
I'd like to know if anyone has used this service from inside Korea and that it's not a problem. Thanks in advance!

about 4 of us, all americans, used the site in june for our trips in july/august. had no problem at all and i've recommended it on another thread.
also the website isn't alluding that u.s. citizens must process from within the states. the website itself doesn't realize you're an american citizen residing in korea. i think when giving the options of how to obtain the visa, the site is generalizing the fact you are in the states at the present time (for example, for those who are). just fill it out online, it will be just fine. |

i processed my vietnam visa on the internet using a similar site.
i paid like $20, filled out a form, and got a PDF to download and print out like 2 days later. just bring your visa form printed out to you arrival airport in vietnam. if the form is asking for a US address just fill one in. VOA is only good for arrival by air and not overland btw.

Thanks for the replies. Seems easy enough. Did you have to wait long to get the $25.00 US stamp at the airport in Vietnam?
I read somewhere that during peak season, the wait at HCHM can be over an hour. |

BKK is easy. Average wait times to clear in through passport control are REALLY short at the new airport (similar to ICN).
The last 5 trips through (since Apr. 2010) have all taken less than 10 minutes for the lineup and clearance. It took longer to walk to the passport queue than it did to get through the queue.

Just to clarify, I'm talking about the time it takes just to get the stamp for the VOA. This would be in addition to the time it takes to actually clear through Immigration and Customs.
My travel partner requires no pre-processed VOA and I would hate to keep her waiting around an hour or more at HCMC airport for me to get my VOA, seeing how I can get the Visa here in Korea prior to departure. |

ok what am i missing here. i went through bangkok in august and february this year on air asia flights on the way to burma, macau, chiang mai, and manila(cebupacific). best case scenario was like 45 minutes waiting to get through passport control... |
