Sorry folks. I've "searched" but haven't seen this question exactly.

My contract ends on 2/26 but my visa ends on 2/28.

I'm planning to use vacation time to run out the remaining days on my contract anyways. I know what I have to take to the pension office and that that includes a plane ticket/printout.

My question is if I'll have any problems getting the pension if I show (on my ticket) I'm leaving a couple of days before my contract expires - though I'm going to use legitimate vacation time and my school is fine with this.....

Can anyone foresee a problem with this?

Thanks for your input!

The pension office doesn't care, all they care is that you're leaving. My second job working with an afterschool program disappeared after a spat between the school and the company, I went to the pension office to apply for the lump sum refund, they didn't ask any questions.

Thanks - that's my impression, that immigration is just checking that your leaving and not syncing things up in any way.
