Well, vacation is coming up, and I need to get a good backpackers backpack. Can anyone recommend any good areas/stores that sell these? Also, any particular bands you recommend? I haven't really bought a backpack like this before, and I want a decent one for after I'm done here and want to travel.

Read up on how to fit a backpack properly, such as this: http://bit.ly/f4uTr8

I made the mistake of getting a $50 backpack at Namdaemun market and by the second trip it was falling apart so blower your expectations for purchases made there.

Two things

1. Buy a quality travel bag. Do not waste your money on a cheap one. I've done this before. Not worth it

2. Buy a small bag (40 L or less) and travel light. Don't be one of those backpackers that is walking around with a whole wardrobe attached to their backs. Buy some Icebreaker marino wool clothing that can be washed easily and worn multiple times.

I know there is a travel store at Seoul National Uni subway stop exit 7 walk strait towards the outdoor market. They have quality brands like Deuter, from Germany.
