It's my boyfriend's birthday next week and I'm really struggling for ideas for what to get him. We live near Suwon and Seoul and I was hoping someone could recommend something special I could treat him to. My budget is around 150,000 won.

I was thinking of booking a hotel in Seoul for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but the ones I looked at are a little pricey.

He also loves soccer so any soccer suggestions would be useful. I looked into hospitality packages at the World Cup Stadiums in Seoul and Suwon but unfortunately they only do them for big groups.

Any suggestions would be great.

Seoul tower has a great view of the city. Restaurant there too, friend said it was a good experience (i've never been to the restaurant).

I've heard the meals run around 80,000 a person before wine and the food is good but unspectacular. If you want an awesome restaurant experience combined with a great view, you might do well to go to the Grand Hyatt. I would say the view there is on par with that from Seoul Tower, and the food is unbelievable.
