Does anyone know where to get good ski trip package deals near Seoul? By package, I mean transportation, lodging, slope/lift tickets, and rentals. A friend of mine told me to check out some deals in Gangwon and to try to rent a pension there. I haven't been able to find any websites advertising pensions. Anyone know a good website to get deals on this stuff?

check out "adventure korea." Not sure of the website but you can google. I am on their mailing list and know they sent an email the other day about a trip they're organizing to a few different ski hills in the near future. The prices were pretty reasonable and had rentals and accomodations and such. Good luck!

Thanks, adventurekorea.com is a great source I just learned about from someone else actually. I also found winterfriend.com to have a lot of deals.

you can also check out some of the social commerce sites, depending on how good your korean is.
last time i went to one (about a week ago) they had an awesome deal for a resort outside of seoul.
if i remember correctly the price was at 39.000 krw for the passes, the rentals, etc.
i dont know if transportation was included, but given the fact that the ticket woulda been super cheap, i dont think it would be much of an issue to actually buy a train ticket for 5.000 krw, would it? ^^

Gmarket that....Just about answers every 'where can I find _____?' question on this forum.

Edit: try searching for 스키장할인 (ski resort discounts)
