cars. That's the only three colors I ever see on the road. I wouldnt notice except for the fact i hang out my window smoking on a busy street and stare at the traffic. Now that I've mentioned it, look around at the cars on the street next time and see if what Im telling you is fact.

Yeah I think I made a post on it a while ago. One of the first things I noticed.

Also the brands consist of Hyundae, SAMSUNG somehow and Kia. There may have been another.

I've seen a few insanely souped up bright yellow/green/red racer boy cars around my local area, driving around about 10mph, which was an amusing clash.

Do you expect them to drive 90mph on normal roads? Rolling Eyes

With the US-SK free trade agreement announced a few weeks back the high tariffs and regulations designed to block non-Korean brands will slowly fall by the wayside and maybe they'll be a few more American cars here.

Don't know if you'll see more variety in car colours - white and grey seem to be popular choices especially in countries with hot summers.

Kinda like in Bangkok... oh hang on. The cars there shone every colour of the rainbow, everywhere.

It was shocking visiting thailand. It made me think I have been colour blind the last few months before, and getting of the plane cured me, seeing colours everywhere. Personality colours, too, not just literal colours.

Thailand definitely has more colourful taxis and buses, but white and grey struck me as the popular choices for privately-owned cars there, Japan and the Philippines (despite the larger colour selection in the latter two countries). Blame the colour palette at Hyundai, Kia et al?

Silver, black, and white also happen to be the top three colors of all cars:

http://autos.yahoo.com/articles/autos_content_landing_pages/1627/car-paint-duel-silver-black-battle-for-top-choice/

A full 26% of cars globally are painted silver, followed closely by black with 24%, the study shows.

Rounding out the top five are white and grey, tied at 16%, and red, at 6%.

-----------------------------------
Once you add grey, those four colors make up 82% of all car colors.

I keep seeing a yellow Corvette randomly crop up here and there. It makes me happy.

Come on guys, how many of you guys would serious buy a pink or purple car?

I personally would only consider black, white, grey/silver, red or blue. Actually I don't like black, gets way too hot in the summer and dirt is easier to notice.

So-
'since it happens globally', lack of color choice from dealerships in Korea is okay?

You either have a huge chip on your shoulder and/or reading comprehension problems. All I'm saying is that those colors make up the bulk of car colors everywhere. It's a possible explanation of what Radius is seeing; not some value judgment.

Personally, all my cars are black because cars generally look best in that color IMHO.

This whole country is black, silver, grey, or white in winter. Sometimes, you might see a shade of beige if you are indoors. The only signs of life are the random bits of shinyness, however even they are not all that lively. My favorite example being those shiny black winter coats that look like someone stuffed the Michelin man into a Hefty sack.

Sorry, dude. You've been sipping your haterade again!

Radius said he sees silver, black, and white cars on the road. It is inferred that he was speaking about Korea.
You could have responded that there are orange/yellow taxis, blue Bongo trucks, and a variety of buses. Instead you put up a meaningless link of how the most popular colors in the world are white, black, and silver. I asked you why the dealerships in Korea only show those colors. I have a reading comprehension problem?

I do have a chip on my shoulder! I want my Bimmer in forest green, dammit!

Wait a minute- you aren't even in Korea, are you?
