Please only reply if you have experience in such matters
1. Can I rent a place in Korea with no issues about the deposit being returned as a non e2? (tourist visa)
2. Where are the best hagwons to learn Korean? The Yonsei/Sogang experience is out of my price range
Kind regards |

If you are on a tourist visa it will be difficult for you to get housing that requires a big deposit anyway-not that there are very many problems in getting it back.- you seem to be worrying about money, are you coming to study Korean only-why not live in a goshiwon or s/t similar where it is cheap and there are no deposits...
Sogang and Yonsei aren't hagwons, they are Universities, do you want a cheap university to study Korean, or in fact, do you want to study at a hagwon? |

You don't need a visa to get your deposit back. |

1. Yes. I did that, but find a landlord you can trust. You may not get your deposit back until they've found a new tenant. This happens quite often.
2. Just go to Shinsa in Jongno. |

Just so you know, speaking a bit of Korean won't be enough to land a uni job. Usually an Ma in any subject is required for the lower end unis and a relevant tesol/teaching Ma or phd for the higher end + experience for 85-90% of them. |
