This camera is perfect for those wanting an upgrade from a point and shoot camera, it's easy to use and has served me well. Everything is in VGC.

The D40 is an excellent camera. I had one with the lenses you mentioned. I think 450 would be the most reasonable offer for that gear.

Nah, 470 is a great price considering the extra battery and the book. Those batteries can get pricey! If I didn't have my gear already, I'd be all over this one.

I sold my D40 body for 300. The 18-55 and 55-200 are worth about 100 together, used. Extra battery and book are a bonus. Great deal for 400.
