I discovered that the resin tabs on the back of those mini hooks can be removed. I've been using the to attach stuff to stuff.

The volume control knob for my speakers is attached to the underside of my desk, emergency buzzer style.

The charger for my camera battery is attached to the side of my desk.

I've got a six outlet powerbar attached to the back of my nightstand. This way I can turn everything off from my bed.

I guess its just been really useful for organizing my electronics.

Anyways, thought someone else might find this useful too.

Now I just need to find the resin by itself...or find a use for all these adhesive-less hooks!

Haha, man, that is not what I thought this thread was going to be about.

But cool idea though.

had I posted this in off-topic and not realized it, or was it moved?

Despite the title's suggestiveness, this could be useful information for people living in Korea. I had meant it to be in general discussion, so if the mistake is mine, could a mod move it over there, please?

Sorry for going off the topic.

I figured you might be very good at electronics, there is a question:

I found my toaster(oven) was broken this morning, I don't usually use it so I don't know when it was borken, last time it worked was several months ago .

It is a mechanical toaster, there are only two turn knobs, one for temperature, one for time. When I plugged in, there was no any reaction.

I wonder if there is any easy way to check it or fix it, I dont want to throw it away since its only 6 months young, either do I know where to have it fixed.

Thanks.

I guess it might belong here after all.

Sorry Panda, I know nothing about electronics. I was only talking about attaching electronic things to my furniture.

I wouldnt know where to begin trying to fix something like that. Don't stick anything metal in there when it's plugged in!

Now then, if you're wondering how to secure your toaster oven to the dashboard of your car so that you can make toast on the way to work, I may be able to help...
