This is not specifically about travel or off topic issues.
Last week I was searching to buy two airline tickets to a few different places for Lunar new year. From Asiana, Korean air, and China air I got notes that we were unable to translate. So, I went to my local travel agency and was offered better fairs. That's great but then she said we MUST use a Korean issues credit card and pointed to what looked like the same note I got. I asked cynically if I could pay cash and she said yes. I'll not try to make too much of that last part.
Anyone else with similar experiences? |

Here's a tip
Go to the Korean Air website but select your location as KOREA and language as English.
The fares will be much much cheaper than if you book the exact same flight on the 'Americas' version of the KA page. I was quoted 600k won on the Korean one and over 1000 dollars US on the non-Korean one. Its happened to me twice so far.
Try it and see. |
