Asia would be home to the bulk of the new international openings, with two each in South Korea and Taiwan, and three in Japan.

Does anyone know where the two new Costco stores will be located?

Yeah. The Bundang/Yongin/Suji area is crying out for a costco.....I'd bet there too.

I'd like to see one north of Seoul, maybe Uijeongbu. It seems like the Yangjae location is fairly accessible for those in south Gyeonggi-do.

Ilsan or Bundang would be the most likely though.

You are all way off. Incheon, 3 million people, will definately be getting
a Costco before any corn bread hick towns.

The Yangjae location is accessible from Suwon (I don't know about other locations) on bus 3000, but the bus stop is the last one on the loop through Gangnam/Seocho before the bus hits the freeway again for Suwon. That means that after buying all those bulk groceries, there will not be a seat on that bus for you going back, because tons of people have gotten on at SNUE and Gangnam stations. So you get to carry those heavy groceries standing up for an hour until the bus gets to Suwon.

I travel half an hour farther to the Yeongdeungpo location just so I can be comfortable most of the way on the Mungunghwa train and less popular bus 05.

I would be really happy if they put a Costco south of Seoul, even if it's in Bundang or Anyang rather than Suwon. Hell, I'd be happy if they built a Costco that was more accessible to public transportation than the current ones in Seoul (like, accessible by more than one bus, or near the subway).
