Gaming is more fun with people you can converse with. I was wondering if there are people here that would be interested in a gaming club. Particularly i'm interested in getting people together once a week or every other week to play the latest FPS games or MMORPGs. I was thinking of getting a Vent server and possibly a Black Ops Dedicated Server. We could schedule RL meets at PC방 somewhere or if it rains or snows we can just clock in via home PC. Any interested peeps? |

Do PC bangs have the juice to play Black Ops, Bad Company 2, or any other recent FPS? |

Ventrillo - http://www.ventrilo.com
It's a voice chat software that most competitive gaming clans use because of the high quality of audio codec and low latency. |

It depends on the PC Bang. The one i used to go to all the time had 25" monitors and Intel i5 setups. It ran Black Ops just fine (not on max settings though). I used play A.V.A. there a lot and that runs off the Unreal 3 engine. But not all PC Bangs are created equal. |

I'm not in Seoul, but if you load up BC2 feel free to put Accuser on your friends list.
I'm not sure about Black Ops though, I think the CoDs are too arcade-gamey and anti-teamwork for my tastes. |

First you have to log on to the computer with the number card you get from the counter. If that is done with you'll usually just have to click on one of the buttons on the desktop that gives you the shortcut to all the games you want to play. There is usually an FPS button and a CD button and a Favourite button or something like that. You usually don't have to go to any web-page unless you are trying to play a MMORPG. Korean MMORPGs such as Aion often log in via a webpage. |

All Korean games require membership on a respective internet portal site. You need to have a membership account with the portal site that owns the license for that game. Once you have that you login through the website, go to the sub-page for that game, and click on the start button. It will auto launch the game for you then. |

I'll be building a new gaming rig next pay day. Can't wait!
I'll also be playing BFBC2 and maybe Black Ops. It'd be awesome to get a waegukin BC2 clan going ^^ |

Might be interested. I'd have to buy the games though as I've never played them!
Currently playing Half Life 2, Team Fortress and Left 4 Dead 2. |
