Hey folks!
I am teaching in Korea in March, and was curious as to if there are any triathletes or cyclist in the area? It would be fun to have a workout partner since I will be leaving mine in the states! |

A girl?!
That's ok you're in safe hands - I'm married
I'm too far away though. I am way up here in the boonies of Andong. Triathlons are great..well were for me. I found the cycling dangerous and unfair. More money means a better quality (fatster) bike. I still run like a maniac though. Swimming sometimes.
Be careful riding your bike in Korea! |

You might be able to find a club or two once you get here, though that'd probably take the help of a Korean friend and may not be what you're looking for training wise. But it might help you find someone with similar interests.
There's a fairly big club in my fairly small city that I've ridden with a few times, and the lbs owner was always keen for a ride.
Language can be an issue, obviously, but in cities the size of Daegu and Busan I'd be surprised if you couldn't find someone that had similar riding ideas and adequate communication skills.
So be sure and have a look out when you get here. You're bound to find something. Good luck!
