I teach a primo class of middle school students. One of the parents complained that we weren't doing anything from newspapers or magazines. So the school started buying me NEWSWEEK. Though there are some articles in it which I enjoy the language in most of the articles just makes the kids groan.
My question does anyone know of a website where I can get current event stories with simple language? I did a search and didn't find much..
your help greatly appreciated |

I don't know what age your students are, but you might want to try
yahooligans. It was recently recommended by Dave Sperling himself at the Busan KOTESOL conference.
