I've been studying my MA in ELT at Sussex Uni since October 2010 and in about six months I will be doing my dissertation. I have had various ideas about my research but the one that I am most interested in is the teaching of English and the relation for Korean students. Some areas that I would like to include:

1. English loanwords in Korean
2. Korean pronunciation and the impact on English pronunciation
3. Received pronunciation or Korean pronunciation - which is suitable
4. Expected written and verbal errors
5. Cultural aspects on English learning

I have done a bit of research and there is some journal articles on point 1 and point 3. What things do you think I have missed with the above? Are there any points that should be included in the research? As a teacher, what do you consider important when teaching Korean students?
