hi all,
if any of the forum experts could please advise...
am looking to visit a city during the snow..my wife & I are in Busan, so i guess we are looking for a place (close to Busan) that has a train station to get to from Busan (we're looking for a convenient location)...
just looking for a pretty town or place (with adequate amenities and creature comforts) to show my wife who will be seeing snow for the first time.
thanks for any advice

The whole country was in the 50's about 3 days ago so the snow is gone. Seoul actually has a good chance for it since we are further up and often get those fronts coming from Russia and China. Anywhere in the mountains would be a good bet too. Kangwon-do area is a good bet |

Most snow in Korea comes from an ocean effect of cold winds blowing from China across the Yellow Sea picking up moisture and dumping it as snow along the west coast. The coasts of North and South Cholla seems to get the most. |
