I was stationed at Commander Fleet Activities Chinhae, Korea (COMFLEACT) as a Radioman from April 1984 to June 1987. Wondered who else was stationed there at any time also. I just recently reconnected wtih some others I served with there and I made a public group page on Facebook and posted a bunch of photos from my time there. If anyone else is interested in checking out the group page or adding me on facebook, reply and I will give you the information. I have such great memories on and off the base such as playing softball almost year round, working in the communications bunker off base on the ROK side, Chinhae Cheeseburgers, partying at Duffys and Donnas Greenhouse and bowling at the 4-lane bowling alley. Still searching for some others I served with there such as: CWO3 James E. Evans, RMC Steve Fischer, RM Chang S. Yim, RM Raul Garcia, RM Bob Cowell, RM Deb Russell, RM Anthony Kyles, CM1 Al Pia and CM1 Bob Manning.

Might want to make a post on the facebook pages for the Changwon bars (IP and O'briens), I've known fair few Jinhae military guys who frequent them Smile

Thanks for the help. Im on facebook and I created a public group page for Chinhae which has about 10-15 of those I served with in the 80s along with others. Can you give me more info on searching for the changwon bars and what is IP and OBriens? Thanks alot
