|
|
I tried getting an Irish apostille on a copy of my original degree which is from Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Unfortunately, they told me they can not put the apostille on it as it is a British document. I am returning to Korea on Saturday morning so I will not have time to fly to London to get this done.
Does any one have any suggestions to what my options are?
Is the best option to send the documents to the apostille office in England?
Will the British embassy in Ireland or in Dublin be able to do anything for me?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you! |

| If you are Irish, it says on the embassy website that consular services are only available to British nationals. If you dig a little further, it directs all kinds of requests for apostille to the FCO's website in the UK. Your only chance of getting an apostille is getting it to the FCO office in Milton Keynes or trying the British embassy in Hong Kong. You can't physically get it done within Korea. You can, however, get the document notarised at the British Council in Seoul. It costs 60,000 for 5 copies (or is it 6? My copies are somewhere here). |
