It has been discussed before, but to save the searching, here's a link to another site that has instructions and manuals for two common ondol/boiler control systems. Be comfortable and save money by choosing the correct settings instead of blindly pushing buttons and hoping for the best.

It's also important to note, if your apartment has multiple rooms, there should be separate valves on your boiler for each room. If there's a room or rooms you use very little, you can close the valve to that room.
For instance, I have 4 bedrooms (one serves as an office), and I only open the valves to the two guest rooms if I have company. |
