I went to immigration today with all my documents (letter from my uni, letter from camp, contract, etc) and the person put all my info into the computer and said that I'd have to come back once I started actually working at the camp. The camp starts on the 3rd and goes to the 28th.

He claims that there is a *new* rule, and that you can only get your additional work permit after you have already starting working there. This is so backwards from the several times I've done this before. I thought the whole point of getting the additional stamp was so *if* immigration pops into the camp you can *prove* you're legally working there.

Anyone else get this runaround at immigration dealing with a camp for the new year?
