What is the going rate to grade/evaluate these tests? specifically, for grading the speaking and the writing sections. Anybody ever paid by the hour? by the test? by the essay? any advice would be welcome.

For the ibt everything is done on the computer. So the test taker speaks into the microphone and then it is sent to the company. Same goes for the writing...
If you go on the TOEFL's website, you can see that they hire evaluators for the writing section. I'm not sure how they outsource the speaking section though. |
