I'm flying in tomorrow and I was wondering if the line is open? I know it goes to Gimpo, but has the 2nd half of the line became operational?
If you were coming to Incheon and need to get to a KTX transfer point quickly where would you go? Seoul Station or GwangMyeong?
What times does the last KTX train leave Seoul on your typical weekday?
How much is a taxi from Gimpo Airport to Seoul Station?
Thank you for your help~ |

Take the airport bus to Seoul Station - will take about 50 mins.
Better than AREX and subway I think! |

Where do you want to go on the KTX? Some of them leave for Mokpo/Gwangju, others leave for Daegu/Busan/Ulsan. Not sure on the last KTX, but I know the last TRAIN in general from Seoul Station is 11:20. I want to say 10:50 from Seoul Station is the last KTX, and 10:40ish is the last train from Yongsan, but don't quote me on that. Also, not all the KTX trains stop at Gwangmyeong, so it really depends on where you want to go.
Like the last guy said, airport bus to the station is the best route. |

Yes, the Arex line is open. You can take it from ICN to Gyeyan or Gimpo and transfer from there.
I would recommend Seoul Station over Gwangmyeong because the trains that go to Gwangmyeong only run every 30 minutes. Not good if you're in a rush.
Taking the subway will require a few transfers so if you have a bunch of luggage or will be jet lagged it might be easier just to take a bus or spring for a taxi.
The last KTX train to Busan leaves at 11pm on weekends. Not sure if that's where you're headed or not.
Here's a direct link to the Seoul Metro Subway map with station info:
