anyone dare deal with the snow, ice and freezing temperatures on their two-wheels???
as for me, i rode in the first half of december, but have quit....finally.
how about you cats down on the southern coast and jeju??? |

i do..... yesterday really sucked, cars driving by, splashing slush all over the place.
the inside roads suck, my tires aren't that great and my scooter is too light to get any good traction. but i mainly ride on the main roads which are clear by now so i'm not too worried about getting into an ice/snow related accident. |

My eighth winter of Korean scooter driving! I really, really should get a car, but I can make much better time on my scooter.
Going downhill during a heavy snowfall is crazy --- you can't touch the brakes or it's game over. You either have to keep rolling and hope to God that nothing gets in your way, or try to do a Fred Flintstone stop with both feet digging into the ground
I'll tell you what, though; those young delivery guys have it a LOT worse. They're in the snow, racing against the clock for 5 bucks an hour! |
