I've used the post office to send belongings to the U.S. with surface mail and I love it. It's a bargain. I've always used the boxes from the post office, though, and I'm wanting to send a few stacks of vinyl records. They're 12" by 12" so they won't fit into the standard boxes.
Anybody ever send surface mail using boxes larger than the ones provided at the p.o.?
Thanks. |

IF they won't fit into a number 5 box (largest size you can surface mail to the US) then you can cut and make your own.
The only thing to remember is that the total linear dimension cannot exceed 200cm as measured by:
width + height + width + height + length <200cm.
(in lay terms wrap a string around the box and add the length. It must be less than 200cm).
