|
|
I will be spending the weekend in Seoul, and I am trying to find a place to watch the Rose Bowl game (7am Jan 2), preferably with fellow Badger fans, but will gladly watch with anyone.
Can anyone suggest a place they KNOW will be showing the game, or better yet if there is a usual place Badger fans go to watch the games in Seoul? |

Best bet is Sam Ryan's pub Itaewon. Their website is not up to date for this weekend but their number is there. You can call and confirm.

My whole family went to Wisconsin and my wife spent two years in Madison. I, alas, chose liberal arts and the east coast. I'll be rooting for the Badgers, but I don't think I'll be down in Itaewon for the game. I hope some folks come out of the woodwork though! |

Might be willing if it will be shown there. Used to go to games at Camp Randall back in the John Jardine era(early 70s)--team wasn't that good then--actually met Mike Webster(All-American and NFL Hall of Fame Center) when he played there(tragic end of his life as he was a nice guy). Been a fan since. |

I was unable to confirm because I was at work...but the game starts at 7am Korea time if my math is correct...which might be too early for them to be open? Alas....ugh. I can't miss this game dammit and it wouldn't be an issue if I was at home in Jeonju. |
