My wife has undyed blonde hair and has noticed recently that her hair has started to turn green. It's never happened before Korea. She's tried a few crazy things she found online (ketchup, tomato juice, vinegar), which worked for a few weeks, but the green color keeps coming back.

Has anyone had this problem before? If so, how did you solve it?

Thanks.

Course it comes back, it's from the chemicals in the water, is she a swimmer or something?

Juts keep using vinegar every few washes, or buy a clarifying shampoo.

I also have naturally light blonde hair. I haven't had a problem with green hair since coming to Korea , but I did when I was swimming regularly. Tell your wife to try using a clarifying shampoo. I prefer UltraSwim Chlorine-Removal Shampoo, but Aveda also makes a good one.

I'm blond. When I was young I used vinegar for a while as a rinse & my hair definitely took on a green tinge. Stopped, & so did the problem.

That runs contrary to what I read on the net, but thats my experience.

Ha, ha. This brings back memories. My ex's hair turned green when we were backpacking through Egypt. Something to do with chemicals/clorine in the water, we thought. Nothing that a muslim head scarf didn't fix.

Green. Hilarious.
