Pretty good. What kind of zoom were you working on for that? Looks like you either know how to use a zoom lens or were in pretty close.

I split my time between live music photography

and urbex photography

Next month I'm having a photo exhibition in Incheon.

If his photo information is correct he's using a 70-200mm lens. If that's the case he's probably doing manual focus. Since neither the Sigma nor the Nikon 70-200mm offer an AF option.

Nice pics.

I'm currently debating nabbing the Canon T1I before I head over, adding some HD Vid to the process. But I know you Nikon users swear by em.

Speaking of lenses...What is the accessory market like relative to North America?

Same price for lenses/filters? Are there lots of camera stores?

Just wondering if i should nab a zoom lens prior to leaving or get it there

I've been screwing around with a couple LOMO cameras lately and different film. I'm by no means good at photography. It is lots of fun though when you mess around with things and it comes out nice.

I'm a photographer, too! We should have a photography club. I use NIKON and i'm in the market for a new camera. Some of my work is available on my website, http://www.wendygould.com. Smile

Your pictures are lovely. Was that the festival near Yangjae station? I was on my way to a voice lesson and passed by and wished so badly that I had my camera! Very Happy

I use a Canon A-1 SLR from 71 with too many lenses, a hatred of filters and a dream that digital cameras will someday be as tough and cool as old manual SLRs or that my SLR will be able to do all the cool shite digital cameras do....but really the best things a camera can do is depth of field preview, meter accurately, shoot fast (with a fast sync) and auto focus would be nice with a little TTL flash.

this is what I do

Although I gotta admit someday I wish to do this

About the lens prices in Seoul. I usually get US prices off Amazon before going to Namdaemun to buy a lens. The prices tend to be pretty much the same, sometimes a little less or more.

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows where I could buy B+W step up filter rings here in Korea?

Am looking for a 67mm-77mm step up ring and postage from B&H in the US is twice the price of the ring itself.

Try Namdaemun. With all the camera shops there you should have a good chance of finding them. If not there, you could always head to Yongsan.

hmmm...since the official motorcycle thread did so well, perhaps this might see more action if it's a sticky. I know more of us take pictures than ride motorcycles.

Who's interested in making this a photography sticky?
