I've had one for well over a month now. It works fine with any Korean Xbox, even the 20 gig first generation models, of which mine is one.
I only bought Dance Central and the Kinect Adventure game which came with it. The system does have a few bugs that pop up every now and then and I just can't seem to get voice recognition working reliably, but it's been loads of fun. My guests love playing Dance Central much more so than Kinect Adventures and my girlfriend schools me at every song except Funkytown. I'm even thinking about bringing it to school and hooking it up to the projector for the kids during the lull in winter classes. Might be a good lesson in learning to queue up properly and wait patiently. Or the kids might destroy it.
HomePlus sells them. That's where I got mine. Unfortunately the library of games is still hit or miss. Some of the current titles they stock look terrible and I personally think it'll take another few months for some really outstanding games to use the technology to its full potential instead of just waving your hand and hitting balls around.
In summary: bought it, totally enjoy it, no regrets. |

I bought a slim recently, but I just couldn't bring myself to dish out for the Kinect yet. It just looks too lame, what with jumping around like a goofball and all.
However, If the jedi game coming out at the end of Nov. 2011 is as good as it looks, I'll be picking one up. Lightsabers FTW!
Yes...that was 11.2011...almost a year from now. |

@ Spanky - The difference with the new slims being "Kinnect Ready" is that it supports the power needed for Kinnect. Using Kinnect with the older consoles means Kinnect will just have its own electrical plug. |
