By central Seoul, I mean I would prefer to live in Mapo, Seodaemun, Jung, or Yongsan, as I'm sure most other people would. I wouldn't mind Gangnam, but I'm pretty fed up with the screw-job Gangnam start-up schools I keep getting offers from.
My question is, regarding living in the main districts just north west of the river, can anyone give me information about reputable schools that are either in those areas or areas within a reasonable commute, maybe in Yeongdeungpo or Dongjak? Or elsewhere for that matter. Please feel free to PM me if you have any information as well.
I have ESL experience, I've been to Korea before, and all of my US documents are ready to go, but I'm fortunate to be flexible enough that I'm considering forking over the airfare if I could get a hold of a good after school job. So that's where I'm at. I'd like to work in Korea for two years before I go back to school, but I don't want to be worked to death by some Korean Bennett Barrow and I'd like to be able to walk to get good western food, as Korean is not my favorite and no seafood enters this gullet. Is this too much to ask? Maybe, but I appreciate any advice anyone has, big fan of the board. |
