I went shopping on Monday evening and saw Chips Ahoy cookies on sale at HomePlus for 4,700 each. That includes the Keebler Sandies. I also saw the Keebler Fudge Shoppe Fudge Stripes cookies on sale at HomePlus for 4,300 each. The Tesco Brand Milk Chocolate Caramel bar is on sale for 2,300 each.

I like your updates and everything, but you couldn't combine this with your old thread on this topic?

Mods don't like it when older threads are bumped.

I don't know how you feel about this, Soju, but most of the Chips Ahoy from my Home Plus are gone. Also, they completely jacked the prices up. Last month, the original Chips Ahoy and the others(minus the Chocolate Lovers) were 4,300 won. Reasonable. This month they are a whopping 5,900 won!! As a result, I will not be getting Chips Ahoy anymore.

Oh, and the giant Costco-style pizzas at Home Plus suck. The tomato sauce is nasty. 10,900 is a good price, but the product pales in comparison to Costco. Love ya, Costco.

I gotta disagree on the pizza. The Costco pizza is way too thick and has too much sauce. I eat it because Costco is close, but I'd take the Homeplus pizza.

HomePlus has cheap pizzas? I haven't seen those. I've eaten large pizzas from E-Mart and LotteMart that were good. But, yeah, Costco bulgogi pizza is awesome and maybe the best, considering the price, in Korea!

As for the cookies, 1-2 bags is enough for any of us each month. Just drink one less pitcher of beer per month and you can easily afford them. Laughing

Costco now has a seafood pizza. Have you tried it?

I stopped going to those discount places because I end up buying junk food when I'm there.

I haven't tried it either. That's why I was asking you. A cursory glance showed plenty of shrimp and squid.
