Hello,
I was hoping to teach in Korea, departing in February or March, but the new FBI requirements have caused me to reconsider.
I know this has been talked about in earlier posts (I am a first time poster, please, please be nice) but can anyone share their recent timelines? I heard it's a bit quicker now but curious if anyone has a personal experience.
Any anyone else considering another country because of this requirement?
I really want to teach in Korea but am now considering China. It's an unusual situation but I'm not able to delay my start date for a few months. BUT, I know I would probably make more money in Korea so I'm a bit stuck! Help!
Many thanks,
Christy |

The FBI received my fingerprints on October 24th. I received an envelope from them on December 7th stating that I have a clean record.
Good luck to you. |

I would go somewhere else. Why give the FBI your fingerprints? Its not like this is a high paying, high secuity level job. For that, might as well stay and work in the US. |
