Hello, from reading requiters they require 2 reference letters for applications however they can't be from the same University but on the site I'm getting this information from it mentions that you can have two letters from University if they're from different departments. Is this the same for students studying? As on the site it only refers to working at the Uni.

I have only had 1 job which was before coming to University but the company closed down after I left and I have no way of getting a reference from them now.

So I can easily get a reference from course leader of my course but now I am stuck on who I can get the second one from. One of the tutors that taught me for 2 years left and now works for a different University, could this work? What about someone who is on hourly paid contract with the Uni?

I am from England so I don't know if College is considered differently to High School?

Any help or advice would be awesome thanks!

If you are applying for / would consider a hagwan position it doesn't matter.

1 reference, 2 references, 0 references.

If you are applying for a Public school position (EPIK/GEPIK, etc.) then 2 work / school related, non-family letters of reference.

As long as they are on different letterhead.

Find an old co-worker or someone from your old school who can do one on different letterhead.
