If you're currently working in Korea, then do you need to have a Korean CRC when applying for a different position at another school/hagwon?

No, however, if you apply for a job through SMOE, they will ask you to submit a Korean CRC. This can be done by submitting your ARC and Passport to any major police station in Korea.
