Busan is awesome. KSU is a good location with great nightlife. Apart from its proximity to Seoul, Busan is probably better than Incheon. |

Hey I live in Busan.
I would pick it over Incheon 100%. KSU is very central and one of the 3 major nightlife areas in the city.
Good luck! |

As another Irish person living in Busan, I would recommend that area over Incheon any day. |

I'm sorry to hear you couldn't get a job in Seoul. But you should be consoled by the fact that you are not in a city where the only English teachers run on wheels, are battery driven and have Filipina accents. Haha |

KSU also has a good variety of restaurants in and around it. But yeah as said, the night life there is fantastic. |

Busan IMHO is better than Seoul by a smidge and 10,000 times better than Incheon.
Just about all of us work at Private schools. The pay is better and you've got actual control over where you will work. Just do your research. Ask a lot of questions. Get the email addresses of current and former employees if possible.
WELCOME TO BUSAN! Get your drinking shoes on and head down to Ol' 55 |

Ok, so I have been offered the job at the school, its right beside the University. I had the phone interview today and they emailed offering me the position. They told me to have a read through the contract, and if i have any other questions to email. What should I ask, what are the pitfalls etc? I am going to be working from 2-9 m-f, but have to spend an hour doing lesson plans beforehand. They will pay the airfare upfront, does this usually include your bags and transfers from the airport etc? I am going to be arriving on the 28th of jan so have to get it sorted asap! |

Sounds good, but......was it recomended by an Irish person? Such jobs are only noteworthy if they are praised by one of Europe's least successful nations. |
